Bridget McKernan has volunteered extensively at May Watts Elementary for the past several years. Because of her unwavering commitment to our students and schools, she has been named the BMO Harris Bank District 204 Volunteer of the Month for February 2022.
The Indian Prairie Educational Foundation and District 204 recently presented the February A+ Award to three outstanding IPSD 204 educators. Jean Domyancic, second grade teacher at Owen Elementary, Sheila Mertes, Teaching Assistant at Scullen Middle School, and Albert Zika, science teacher at Metea Valley High School, were surprised with the news of their award.

At last night’s meeting, the District 204 board of education approved the administration recommendation and implementation plan for boundary adjustments.
Today, January 7, 2022, the Illinois Department of Public Health(IDPH), Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and the DuPage County Health Department announced that they have adopted CDC guidance for PK-12 schools that halves the isolation and quarantine period. The Centers for Disease Control updated its guidance for P-12 schools on January 6.
