Sugar Land defeats El Paso Chihuahuas 9-6; Nicholas Solak records 2 hits
The El Paso Chihuahuas, featuring former Naperville North High School standout Nicholas Solak, fell 9-6 to the Sugar Land Space Cowboys at 8:35 p.m. on Friday, June 5, in their MiLB contest.
Southwest University Park hosted the game, which marked the fourth meeting between these teams this season. The Chihuahuas now trail 0-4 in their season series with the Space Cowboys.
Solak contributed by going 2-for-5 at the plate, tallying 1 run, striking out once, and leaving 5 runners on base.
The Chihuahuas are set to play again at Southwest University Park on Saturday, June 6, with a matchup against the El Paso Chihuahuas.
