Congressman Bill Foster, representing Illinois' 11th district since 2013, recently shared his views on various political matters through a series of tweets. Foster has been a member of the U.S. Congress following his predecessor Judy Biggert and is known for his active participation in legislative discussions.

On March 5, 2025, Foster commented on former President Donald Trump's actions regarding immigration policy. He stated, "Reminder that Trump killed a bipartisan immigration package negotiated in good faith all so he could make it a campaign issue."

Later that day, Foster expressed his support for Ukraine amidst ongoing geopolitical tensions. He criticized certain political figures by saying, "Trump and Vance have stabbed Ukraine in the back and put a stain on our nation’s honor that will take generations to remove. House Democrats and I stand with Ukraine and democracy."

In another tweet posted on March 5, 2025, Foster mourned the loss of a fellow public servant. He conveyed his condolences upon hearing about the death of Representative Sylvester Turner: "I am deeply saddened by the news of Representative Sylvester Turner's passing last night. He was an exemplary public servant having served as Mayor of Houston and as a Member of Congress." Foster extended his sympathies to Turner's family and the city of Houston.
