Report: Queen Bee spent $13,889 per student in 2017-18
Spending per pupil at Queen Bee School District 16 is up 18.8 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.
The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $11,688 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $13,889 in 2017-18.
The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1981 to 1777.
Queen Bee's spending in 2017-18 was 4.1 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
