Report: Lombard spent $15,111 per student in 2016-17
Spending per pupil at Lombard School District 44 is up 17 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.
The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $12,888 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $15,111 in 2016-17.
The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 3173 to 3182.
Lombard's spending in 2016-17 was 16 percent higher than the state average of $12,973.
