Illinois General Assembly: HB815 actions on March 29

The following actions were taken on March 29 in the House on House bill HB815 ("freedom from ins increases act"): "House Committee Amendment No. 3 Rule 19(c) / Re-referred to Rules Committee", "House Committee Amendment No. 2 Rule 19(c) / Re-referred to Rules Committee", "House Committee Amendment No. 1 Rule 19(c) / Re-referred to Rules Committee" and "Rule 19(a) / Re-referred to Rules Committee".

In the event that a committee fails to report to the House on a bill by applicable deadlines, it is automatically re-referred to the Rules Committee according to House rule 19(a). This is what happened with this bill.

The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Bob Morgan (D-58) on Jan. 18, "creates the Freedom from Aggressive Insurance Increases Review Act," according to the General Assembly website.
