Winston-Salem Dash, featuring Downers Grove North standout George Wolkow, beat Greenville Drive 5-4 on Thursday, July 2

On Thursday, July 2, at 6:30 p.m., the Winston-Salem Dash, which includes former Downers Grove North High School standout George Wolkow, defeated the Greenville Drive 5-4 in a MiLB game.

The game was played at Truist Stadium. It was the ninth meeting between the teams this season, with the Dash holding a 6-3 advantage in the season series against the Drive.

Wolkow went 2-for-4, scored 1 run, had 1 RBI, struck out twice and left 2 runners on base.

The Dash's next game is scheduled for Friday, July 3, at Truist Stadium against the Winston-Salem Dash.
