Nicholas Solak’s El Paso Chihuahuas lose 9-7 to Sacramento River Cats on Thursday, July 2

Former Naperville North High School standout Nicholas Solak’s current team, the El Paso Chihuahuas, lost 9-7 to the Sacramento River Cats in a MiLB game Thursday, July 2, at 8:35 p.m.

The game was played at Southwest University Park. It was the sixth meeting between the teams this season, with the Chihuahuas trailing the River Cats 2-4 in the season series.

Solak went 2-for-4, scored two runs, had one RBI and left one runner on base.

The Chihuahuas’ next game is scheduled for Friday, July 3, at Southwest University Park against the El Paso Chihuahuas.
