The arrest occurred at Wheaton Avenue and Illinois Street on June 15 at 2:44 p.m., with Beltran released later that day. Suzette L. Saskill, age 54 of Wheaton, was arrested for domestic battery at her residence on Brahms Circle on June 14 at 8:10 p.m., and was taken to DuPage County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) custody the same evening.

Other arrests reported include Casey M. Brady, age 33 of Wheaton, charged with a warrant and driving while license revoked; James J. Bundy, age 49 of Wheaton, charged with warrant offenses including battery, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct; Murad M. Dahleh, age 41 of Elmhurst on a warrant; and Jay P. Bonahoom, age 27 of Wheaton for domestic battery.

The report also lists several crime incidents during the week: criminal damage to vehicles in parking lots at Danada Square East/Sephora (May 28), thefts including an e-scooter from Jewel (June 9), cell phone and credit cards from Walgreens (June 11), bicycles from Front Street Metra Station (June 10) and Rice Pool (June 13), as well as vandalism at Edison Middle School involving spray paint defacement between June 12-13.

The department reminds residents that all complaints contain only charges and are not proof of guilt. "Constitutionally, a defendant is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial in which it is the government’s burden to prove his or her guilt beyond a reasonable doubt," according to the notice included in the release.

Residents are encouraged to use Anonymous Crime Tips (ACT) via text or email through the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office website if they have information about these or other crimes.
