Warrenville tied for 81st among Illinois cities for scam reports in June

In June 2026, Warrenville recorded one scam report and was one of 157 cities tied for 81st among 237 Illinois cities with at least one BBB Scam Tracker report, according to Better Business Bureau.
The city had the same number of reports as the previous month.
The report listed a $35 loss from an online purchase scam and included this description: Placed order on line with cc No response used email she said they sent item they did not emailed again no response
BBB Scam Tracker lets consumers search reported scams and share their experiences to help others spot similar schemes. The BBB says it reviews each report before publication and does not publicly display the reporter’s name or personal contact information.
Fraud reports continue to show large financial losses nationwide. The Federal Trade Commission said consumers reported losing more than $12.5 billion to fraud in 2024, a 25% increase from the previous year.
