Former Downers Grove North standout George Wolkow's team falls 5-4 to Bowling Green Hot Rods on July 19

On Sunday, July 19, at 2:05 p.m., former Downers Grove North High School standout George Wolkow’s team, the Winston-Salem Dash, fell 5-4 to the Bowling Green Hot Rods in a MiLB game.
The game was played at Bowling Green Ballpark. It was the sixth meeting between the teams this season, with the Dash trailing 1-5 in the season series against the Hot Rods.
Wolkow was hitless in 4 at-bats, drew 1 walk, struck out 3 times and left 2 runners on base.
The Dash’s next game is scheduled Tuesday, July 21, at Truist Stadium against the Winston-Salem Dash.
