Eight women's volleyball teams from the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) have been recognized with the 2025 Team Academic Award by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). The award was announced on Monday.
The AVCA Team Academic Award is given to programs that maintain a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale. Carroll College received an additional honor, being placed on the Team Academic Honor Roll, which celebrates programs in the top 20% of GPAs for their division.
The teams honored are Augustana, Carroll, Elmhurst, Illinois Wesleyan, Millikin, North Central, North Park, and Wheaton.
