On February 11, 2025, Rep. Casten tweeted about leading a group of 154 House Democrats in addressing concerns to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent regarding Elon Musk's access to the federal government's payments system. He stated: "ICYMI: Last week, I led 154 House Democrats in a letter to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent expressing concern regarding Elon Musk and his allies’ access to the federal government’s payments system, and demanding answers about the extent of Musk’s access."

Later that day, he mentioned his visit to the Chicago Air Traffic Controllers Association earlier in the month. In this tweet, he expressed enjoyment in discussing his Mental Health in Aviation Act and learning about issues affecting air traffic controllers: "Earlier this month, I visited and toured the Chicago Air Traffic Controllers Association. I enjoyed discussing my Mental Health in Aviation Act and hearing about issues affecting air traffic controllers."

In another tweet posted on February 11, Rep. Casten highlighted an initiative by his office involving Valentines for Veterans. He noted that they received a record number of valentines this year and planned to distribute them at local community centers as well as mail them out to veterans: "This year, my office received a record number of Valentines for Veterans! In addition to dropping the Valentine's off at local community centers, my office would like to spread these thoughtful Valentines around by mailing them out to veterans."
