Jeanne Ives, a former state representative and founder of Breakthrough Ideas, expressed in an X post her desire for more people to recognize Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker as prioritizing illegal immigrants over law-abiding citizens.
"Keep it up JB. We need more people to see you protecting illegals and lawlessness over the law abiding," said Jeanne M Ives.
Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker has accused the federal immigration enforcement effort of being politically motivated. According to The Hill, Pritzker said that he and other state officials were not given advance notice or coordination about the operation. "This is not about seriously fighting crime or reforming immigration – it’s about Trump’s plan to go to war with America’s third-largest city," he said.
