Q4 2021 Recap: 2 parolees from Dupage County convicted of financial crimes or fraud set for release

There were two offenders convicted of financial crimes or fraud living in Dupage County released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2021, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the DuPage Policy Journal.

The data shows both of the released offenders among the parolees were men. The median age of the parolees sentenced for financial crimes or fraud was 39. The younger parolee was a 34-year-old man sentenced in 2020, and the oldest was a 44-year-old man sentenced in 2021.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Andrea Hunter. He was convicted in 2021 when he was 43 years old. He is now 44.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The following table shows how many offenders convicted of financial crimes or fraud were paroled during the fourth quarter of 2021 in each Illinois county.
