The Elmhurst University bowling team finished up day one of the second CCIW meet of the season at Stardust Lanes.

The Bluejays are currently in seventh-place after four traditional matches with 3,032 total pins knocked down as a team and an overall record of 1-3.

Elmhurst fell to Marian University in the first matchup of the day by a score of 786-756, before bouncing back to even its record in the second game against Illinois Wesleyan University with a score of 756-685.

Augustana College took the third match 864-805 and the Bluejays ended the day with an 804-715 loss to Carthage College.

Individually, Katherine Pettinger sits in seventh-place with an average of 175, while teammate Maddalynn Butler knocked down 634 total pins to hold onto 14th-place. Autumn Kalady checks into 21st-place heading into day two with an average of 150 pins per game.

Elmhurst opens up the final day of competition tomorrow against Carroll University.
