Analysis: Glendale Heights pays $4.49 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Glendale Heights Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 81.8 percent of the $2,629,476 the Glendale Heights Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.49 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Glendale Heights contributed $2,150,465 to the fund, which saw a $420,709 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $478,926, or 18.2 percent, in 2018. Another $85 came from other unspecified sources.
