2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 60139?

There were 15 offenders released on parole during 2018 that live near Illinois zip code 60139, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by DuPage Policy Journal.

The data shows that 10 men and five women were released in the Glendale Heights zip code. The median age of the parolees was 37. The youngest parolee was a 22-year-old man convicted of a crime against a person in 2016, and the oldest was a 58-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2014.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Angel Montemayor. He was convicted of homicide in 2005, when he was 29 years old. He is now 43.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
