attorney general candidate Gary Grasso returns $11,100 contribution from JR Marital Trust

The campaign committee of attorney general candidate Gary Grasso, Citizens for Gary Grasso, returned a $11,100 contribution from JR Marital Trust on July 16, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. JR Marital Trust has not made any other contributions to Gary Grasso in the past 12 months.
