Illinois Wesleyan University’s women’s volleyball team has maintained its position as the sixth-ranked team in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III poll. This marks the third consecutive week that the Titans have held the number six spot and the sixth straight poll in which they have been ranked within the top 10.

The team secured two more victories last week. On Tuesday, Illinois Wesleyan swept then-13th-ranked Washington University in St. Louis. They followed that performance with a three-set conference win over Millikin on Friday, bringing their overall record to 20-2 and their College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) record to 6-0.

With Friday’s victory, Illinois Wesleyan clinched at least a share of the regular-season CCIW title. The Titans have the opportunity to secure the outright championship by winning one or both of their remaining regular-season matches against conference opponents.

The AVCA poll’s top seven teams remained unchanged this week, with La Verne holding onto the number one ranking.
