The campaign committee Turn Illinois Red - Thomas Laz owes a $525 fine imposed on Nov. 18, 2015, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $1,675 with David M. Laz listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 23 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $136,584.23 in pending fines.
