Volunteers are needed between 7 and 3:30 p.m. on the following days: Friday, July 6; Saturday, July 7; Monday, July 9; Tuesday, July 10; Wednesday, July 11; Thursday, July 12; Friday, July 13; Saturday, July 14; and possibly on Sunday, July 15. The PTC is in particular need of weekday volunteers.
Volunteers can come the entire day, just the morning, or just the afternoon. Lunch, snacks and beverages will be provided. Childcare will be available on the weekends.
Volunteers must be 18 years old but there is no experience necessary. You do not need any training or special tools to help.
The Arbor View PT raised more than $100,000 through fundraising for the playground, including selling brick pavers and hosting a 5K race. The new playground will be age appropriate for preschool through fifth grade students, and more accessible to students with different physical and sensory needs.
The old playground was removed in June and the new equipment should be completed in time for the start of the 2018-19 school year. To learn more about the Arbor View PTC project playground, go to: https://goo.gl/3hXYfr
