Analysis: Glendale Heights pays $3.34 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Glendale Heights Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 77 percent of the $2,134,514 the Glendale Heights Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.34 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Glendale Heights contributed $1,643,176 to the fund, which saw a $71,221 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $491,338, or 23 percent, in 2016.
