The early bird deadline for registration in the Carol Stream Park District winter youth basketball program is Oct. 18, csparks.org reported.
The regular deadline is Nov. 4. The program is for boys and girls in grades 3-8.
Practices start Nov. 28, with games starting Jan. 8. Seasons end in mid-to-late March.
Each regular season will have eight games, with playoffs following. There will be two practices per week prior to the start of the games; after the start of the games, practices will be once a week.
Games are played on weekends, with weeknights possible. Team jerseys are required but not included with the registration fee. Jerseys can be purchased at the Fountain View Recreation Center or Simkus Recreation Center.
