Lombard Community Promotion & Tourism Committee to consider liquor license request

The Village of Lombard Community Promotion and Tourism Committee will meet at 7 p.m. today, May 10, to consider a liquor license request.

Lombard Town Centre submitted a request to permit the off-site sale of alcohol by a private business vendor for downtown viewing parties.

The committee will also review a survey for committee members to consider changing the meeting date schedule.

The Community Promotion and Tourism Committee is charged with overseeing hotel/motel tax funding within the annual budget, as well as events or tourism overnight stays within the village. It also administers local tourism grants requested by community organizations.
