Lombard drivers should watch for pavement-patching projects underway in several areas of the city.
Various lane closures will be necessary at different times of the day, and drivers are urged to watch for flaggers and construction crews, and to obey the lower speed limit in these areas.
Some of the areas where drivers can expect delays due to lane closures are listed below:
*West-bound curb lane, 660 E. Roosevelt Road (Route 38): Curb removal and replacement; pavement patching; hot-mix asphalt driveway replacement; southbound inner lane closure expected
*30 N. Columbine Avenue (Route 53): Pavement patching; northbound outer lane closure expected
*631 N. Columbine Avenue (Route 53): Pavement patching; southbound lane closure expected
*108 S. Main Street: Pavement patching; southbound lane closure expected
*130 S. Main Street: Pavement patching; southbound lane closure expected
*S. Main Street @ Edward Street: Pavement patching; northbound lane closure expected
*400 N. Grace Street @ Pleasant Avenue: Pavement patching.
