Jan.-June 2018 Recap: Parolees near Illinois zip code 60187 convicted of crimes against persons
There were four offenders convicted of crimes against persons released on parole near Illinois zip code 60187 during the first half of 2018, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the DuPage Policy Journal.
The data shows that three men and one woman were among the parolees. The median age of the parolees sentenced for crimes against persons was 32. The youngest parolee was a 26-year-old man sentenced in 2017, and the oldest was a 37-year-old woman sentenced in 2017.
The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Marizol Rodriguez. She was convicted of a crime against a person in 2017 when she was 37 years old. She is now 37.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
