The largest reported loss, $150, was tied to an online purchase for an advertised inflatable mechanical bull. The seller asked for a $150 Zelle deposit, which the reporter said they foolishly sent. One week before the event date, the seller requested an additional $399.99 on Zelle as an insurance deposit that would be refunded; the reporter said they offered to provide that on arrival. All text communication then stopped.
