On Wednesday, July 1, at 9:35 p.m., the Inland Empire 66ers, the current team of former Montini Catholic High School standout Estevan Moreno, beat the Visalia Rawhide 5-0 in a MiLB game.
The game was played at San Manuel Stadium. It marked the eighth meeting between the teams this season, with the 66ers tied 4-4 in the season series against the Rawhide.
Moreno went 1-for-4, scored 1 run, struck out 3 times and left 3 runners on base.
The 66ers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, July 2, at San Manuel Stadium against the Inland Empire 66ers.
