Nashville Sounds lose 1-0 to Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp on July 1

At 7:35 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, the Nashville Sounds — the current team of former Hinsdale Central High School standout Jon Adams — lost 1-0 to the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp in a MiLB game.

The game was played at First Horizon Park. It was the eighth meeting between the teams this season, leaving the season series tied 4-4.

Adams went hitless in three at-bats, drew one walk and struck out twice.

The Sounds' next game is scheduled for Thursday, July 2, at First Horizon Park against the Nashville Sounds.
