Nicholas Solak’s team, the El Paso Chihuahuas, beat Sacramento River Cats 6-3 on July 1

At 8:35 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, the El Paso Chihuahuas — the current team of former Naperville North High School standout Nicholas Solak — defeated the Sacramento River Cats 6-3 in a MiLB game.

The game was played at Southwest University Park. It was the fifth meeting between the teams this season, with the Chihuahuas trailing 2-3 in the season series against the River Cats.

Solak went 1-for-4, scored one run, recorded one RBI, struck out once and left four runners on base.

The Chihuahuas’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, July 2, at Southwest University Park against the El Paso Chihuahuas.
