Waubonsie Valley alum Dylan Johnson’s college baseball team falls to Rhodes Lynx

Former Waubonsie Valley High School standout Dylan Johnson and the Buena Vista Beavers fell 13-6 to the Rhodes Lynx in an NCAA Division III baseball matchup held Saturday, March 14, at 11 a.m.

Stauffer Field hosted the contest, which marked the third time the teams faced each other this season. The Beavers were previously defeated by the Lynx 10-0 on Friday, March 13.

Johnson pitched five innings, allowing five earned runs while issuing six walks and tallying four strikeouts.

The Beavers are set to play their next game against the Dubuque Spartans at Storm Lake High School on Friday, March 20, at 6 p.m.
