Nashville Sounds defeat Gwinnett Stripers 12-5; Jon Adams held hitless

The Nashville Sounds earned a 12-5 win over the Gwinnett Stripers in their MiLB game Tuesday, June 23, at 7:35 p.m. Former Hinsdale Central High School standout Jon Adams is currently on the Sounds’ roster.
First Horizon Park hosted the contest, which marked the 13th matchup this season between the two teams. The Sounds now have a 7-6 lead over the Stripers in their season series.
Adams did not record a hit in 5 at-bats, struck out twice and stranded 1 runner on base.
The Sounds will play their next game Wednesday, June 24, again at First Horizon Park against the Gwinnett Stripers.
