Naperville Board of Fire and Police Commissioners to meet June 23; public comment process outlined

The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners in Naperville will hold its next meeting at 4:30 p.m. on June 23 in Meeting Room C at the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St.

According to an email from the City of Naperville, individuals unable to attend the meeting in person may submit a written comment or position statement through the boards and commissions online comment form. Submissions must be received at least 24 hours before the meeting begins. "All written comments and names of those who submit position statements by the deadline will be shared with board members ahead of the meeting and posted to the City’s meeting management system on the City’s website on the day of the meeting. Written comments will not be read aloud during the meeting. Submissions received after the deadline will not be shared or posted," the City said.

The City advises that upon submission of the online registration form, participants should ensure they receive an on-screen confirmation message. Those who do not receive confirmation or have questions are encouraged to contact the Community Services Department at (630) 305-5300. Any individual requiring accommodation to participate in the meeting should contact the Community Services Department at least 48 hours in advance by phone or via email at [email protected].

City Hall office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to the City of Naperville.
