Illinois Wesleyan’s Taylor French, Wheaton’s Lacey Higgins, and Elmhurst’s Alexis Casey have been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Volleyball Student-Athletes of the Week.

Taylor French was selected as Hitter of the Week for her performance in leading Illinois Wesleyan to a sweep over Augustana. The Titans completed their second consecutive undefeated CCIW regular season and set a new program record with a .521 attack percentage. French contributed 15 kills with only two errors on 24 attempts, finishing at a .542 hitting percentage. She also recorded 16 digs, two assists, and an ace.

Lacey Higgins earned Setter of the Week honors after averaging 11 assists per set and collecting 11 digs during Wheaton's home win against North Central. Higgins added two kills and two blocks in the match.

Alexis Casey was recognized as Defensive Player of the Week for her role in Elmhurst’s victory at North Central. She tallied 18 digs (4.50 per set) and achieved a .932 serve-receive percentage on 44 attempts, along with two service aces.

The CCIW also listed previous weekly award winners for each category throughout the 2025 season.
