North Central College's Riley Rayome has been recognized as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Wrestling Student-Athlete of the Week. The announcement comes after Rayome secured the 124-pound title at the Pointer Women’s Open, held on Saturday.

Rayome, a freshman from Shenandoah, Texas, went undefeated with a 4-0 record during the tournament. She accumulated 21.0 team points for North Central College, leading her team in scoring at the event.

Her performance included a significant win in the championship match, where she pinned Aspen Blasko of Grand Valley State—an All-American and currently ranked third nationally—in 3 minutes and 25 seconds.

In earlier rounds, Rayome achieved a first-period fall over Miriam Hopson of Grand Valley State in just 1 minute and 45 seconds. She continued her streak with another pin in 1 minute and 27 seconds against Ayane Jasinski of Wartburg during the quarterfinals. In the semifinals, she advanced by defeating Natasha Markoutsis of Aurora with a 14-6 decision.
