CCIW names Tess Boyer and Mae Norman as women’s swimming & diving award winners

Wheaton’s Tess Boyer and Carthage’s Mae Norman have been selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Swimming & Diving Student-Athletes of the Week. The announcement was made Wednesday afternoon.

Boyer, a junior at Wheaton, competed in a double dual meet against Chicago and Illinois Tech last Saturday. She achieved a lifetime best in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:24.23, which is currently the fastest in the CCIW this season and ranks ninth nationally among NCAA Division III athletes. Boyer also won the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:08.41, leading the conference and ranking fifth nationally. Additionally, she contributed to Wheaton’s victory in the 200 medley relay with a butterfly split of 25.9 seconds.

Norman represented Carthage in diving during their double dual meet against Lake Forest and MSOE last Saturday. She scored 137.60 on the 3-meter board and 136.00 on the 1-meter board.

The weekly awards recognize top performances by student-athletes in women’s swimming and diving across CCIW member institutions for the 2025-26 season.

Previous honorees this season include Kendle Mihm from Augustana for swimming (October 22) and Kendall Leistico from Carthage for diving (October 22).
