Over the past three years, the Village of Westmont has allocated more than $4.25 million to street and sidewalk maintenance. This funding has supported repairs for 82,700 square feet of sidewalks and resurfacing for 112,493 square yards—equivalent to 16 lane miles—of streets.

To better identify and prioritize infrastructure needs, Westmont officials are asking residents and businesses to report potential street or sidewalk repair concerns directly to the Public Works Department at pw@westmont.il.gov. Reported issues will be added to a maintenance schedule and prioritized based on factors such as safety considerations, pre-existing schedules, and available budget.

"As colder weather approaches, some maintenance projects will be placed on hiatus until the Spring of 2026 when weather conditions are more suitable for successful infrastructure maintenance projects," according to the village’s statement.
