The Golf Coaches Association of America has announced its PING Division III All-American teams, with Illinois Wesleyan University men's golfers Griffin Pohl and Michael Spitzer earning Second Team All-American honors. The announcement was made on June 18.

Pohl, who previously received a PING All-American Honorable Mention, achieved his second consecutive All-American title after an impressive senior season. He was named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Men's Golfer of the Year and ranked 13th in Division III according to Clippd. His season included an average of 71.0 strokes per round over 11 tournaments, four top-three finishes, and a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Championship. Additionally, Pohl secured his first career win at the Wabash College Fall Invitational and earned All-CCIW status with a runner-up finish at the CCIW Championship.

Spitzer, a junior from Hinsdale, Illinois, advanced from honorable mention in 2024 to Second Team recognition this year. He ranked 19th in Division III via Clippd and maintained a scoring average of 70.9 strokes per round across 11 tournaments. Spitzer claimed victories at both the Heartland Fall Invite and the CCIW Championship while achieving five top-10 finishes during the year. He finished in 14th place at the NCAA Championship and was also acknowledged as an All-CCIW and all-region performer.

The achievements of Pohl and Spitzer contributed significantly to IWU's successful season, marked by five tournament wins and their best NCAA Championship performance since securing the national title in 2021.
