The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has revealed the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Scholar All-American Awards recipients. The announcement made on Friday included 28 student-athletes from eight College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) men's wrestling programs.
To qualify, student-athletes met specific academic and athletic requirements: they must have placed in the top eight in a regional tournament or competed in at least 15 matches with a win percentage above 66%. Academically, they are required to maintain a grade-point average of at least 3.2 over the previous two semesters or quarters, or a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
The honorees from the CCIW institutions include athletes from Augustana, Aurora, Carthage, Elmhurst, Millikin, MSOE, North Central, and Wheaton. This includes Jacob Badger, Clay Debaillie, Michael Macias, Michael Rodriguez, and Josh Woodrey from Augustana; Jake Penzato and Cam’ron Harper from Aurora; Zaren Anderson and Mason Kochersperger from Carthage; Rhenzo Augusto from Elmhurst; and Joey Jens, Cameron Lee, Benicio Martinez, Chase Mirelez, and Sabri Sino from Millikin.
From MSOE, the awardees are Gavin Graham, Jackson Hughes, Max Sanderfoot, Michael Smith, and Toren Vandenbush. North Central's student-athletes Casey Aikman, Robby Bates, Raymond Cavey, Joshua Robison, Kenny Siwicki, Ethan Spacht, and Tyler Star also made the list, alongside Jackson Punzel from Wheaton.
