Congressman Bill Foster, representing Illinois' 11th district since 2013, has been vocal on various issues through his social media platform. On March 12, 2025, he expressed concerns about potential reductions in the Department of Education's workforce. "Firing half of the Department of Education's workforce is the first step in gutting the resources that our students rely on, from support for low-income and rural schools to special education programs." He emphasized the importance of investing in educational institutions as a means to secure America's future.

On March 13, 2025, Congressman Foster criticized tariffs imposed by former President Trump. "Trump's reckless tariffs would cost the average American family an estimated $1,600 - $2,000 per year, with working class families being hit the hardest." He warned that trade wars result in economic instability and increased costs for families.

The following day, March 14, 2025, Foster shared his condolences upon learning about the death of Congressman Grijalva. "I’m saddened to learn of the passing of Congressman Grijalva. In Congress, he was a strong voice for protecting the environment and a tireless advocate for his constituents in Arizona." Foster acknowledged Grijalva's contributions to environmental protection and advocacy.
