Wednesday Wilderness Walk
Get out and enjoy the fresh air during the Wednesday Wilderness Walk from 8-10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 7, at Lincoln Marsh in Wheaton. A nature talk over coffee and tea will take place before the walk, which is for ages 18 and older. The cost is $5 per person. To register early by phone, call 630-942-6200, or participants can register on the morning of the walk. The group will meet at the end of Lincoln Avenue. Binoculars, appropriate outdoor clothing and water bottles are recommended.

Chores on a Dairy Farm
Ever wanted to spend the day as a farmer? Well here is your chance to try your hand at different farming chores while learning about the importance of 1890s dairy farms and how their legacy is still around today. The event will take place on Thursday, June 8, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at Kline Creek Farm, 1N600 County Farm Road in West Chicago. This 1890s living history farm is owned and operated by the Forest Preserve District. Suggested admission to the event is a donation of $5 per person for ages 3 and older.
