Analysis: Burr Ridge pays $3.35 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Burr Ridge Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 77 percent of the $1,014,373 the Burr Ridge Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.35 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Burr Ridge contributed $780,713 to the fund, which saw a $87,058 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $232,978, or 23 percent, in 2018. Another $682 came from other unspecified sources.
