Analysis: Oakbrook Terrace pays $6.07 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Oakbrook Terrace Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 85.9 percent of the $1,210,940 the Oakbrook Terrace Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $6.07 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Oakbrook Terrace contributed $1,039,772 to the fund, which saw a $46,807 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $171,168, or 14.1 percent, in 2018.
