BLOOMINGDALE PARK DISTRICT: Park District offers two summer camp options

Park 10

Bloomingdale Park District issued the following announcement on June 2.

Bloomingdale Park District is offering two summer camp options to accommodate its residents.

Camp Escape, the Bloomingdale Park District’s new summer day camp, has been restructured to incorporate small group sizes and social/physical distancing restrictions. The Park District will follow all guidelines pertaining to disinfecting, social distancing and group sizes. Each camper is required to bring their own camp supply kit to leave at camp; a supply list will be provided prior to the start of camp. Crafts, cooking, sports, science experiments, special events, fitness, hikes, and on-location field trips are just some of the ways that will make this summer an unforgettable experience. Camp Escape is for ages 3-15 and is scheduled to begin on June 29. Registration deadline for the entire summer is June 16. Register for Camp Escape DEPOSIT at this time. Deposit codes: 408304 A1 (weekly) and 408305 A1 (daily). Camp Escape is located under Special/Sport Camps on the registration site.

Camp on the Go, an at-home day camp option, begins June 8. Each week campers receive a bag filled with a craft, outdoor activity, active movement, recipe, science experiment and a surprise (virtual field trip or additional item). Each bag contains the supplies for 1 participant. Camp on the Go also includes curbside pick-up and/or delivery (for residents). Camp on the Go is located under Youth Variety on the registration site.
