City of Wheaton Planning and Zoning Board will meet on September 10. 

Here is the agenda as provided by the board:

The Wheaton Planning and Zoning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Wheaton City Hall, 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois, to consider the following zoning application:


Zoning Application #19-15. An application requesting rezoning of the property located at 1408 Hill Avenue from the R-4 Residential District to the O-R Office Research District. The existing single-family dwelling located on the subject property would be demolished and the site would be restored to a vegetative state.

The application has been submitted by Good News Publishers, 1300 Crescent Street, Wheaton, IL 60187 on behalf of the property owner, DuPage Habitat for Humanity, 1600 E. Roosevelt Road, Suite B, Wheaton, IL 60187.

The subject property is legally described as:

LOTS 6, 7 AND 8 IN BLOCK 1 IN EAST WHEATON, A SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 15, TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 10, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

The subject property is commonly known as 1408 Hill Avenue, Wheaton, IL 60187.

At the public hearing, anyone wishing to make a public statement will be encouraged to do so. Written comments may be submitted to the Board prior to or at the public hearing. A copy of the application is available for review in the office of the Director of Planning and Economic Development, 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois during normal business hours.
