The data shows that nine men and three women were released in Bartlett. The median age of the parolees was 34. The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2017, and the oldest was a 64-year-old woman sentenced for a property crime in 2018.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Erik C. Ecker. He was convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2010 when he was 26 years old. He is now 35.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
