The price of local government in 2017: Village of Addison

The Village of Addison budget was $81.42 million for its 2017 fiscal year, or $9,217 per household.

That's an increase of 15.1 percent from 2016, when the village spent $70.73 million, or $8,007 per household.

Addison has 8,834 households and a population of 36,942.

Since 2001, the Village of Addison budget has grown by 27.8 percent, from $63.71 million. The village population has grown 2.9 percent over the same period, from 35,914.
