Wheaton Fire Department issued the following announcement on Sept. 4.
The Wheaton Fire Department will host its annual Sept. 11 Commemoration Ceremony to remember those who lost their lives at Ground Zero in New York and to honor Wheaton fire and police personnel.
The ceremony will take place in the front of the Wheaton Fire Department, 1 Fapp Circle, at precisely 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11. The community is invited to attend.
