Village of Addison issued the following announcement on June 13.
The Village of Addison was recently notified that CN Railway is coordinating complete renewal of the Grace Street grade crossing. The complete track structure will be replaced, with new rubber crossing surface installed.
The crossing renewal is scheduled to commence at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 16, and conclude by 6 p.m. on Friday, July 20.
Complete road closure will be required for the duration of the project. TSI Traffic Services will coordinate detour signs and barricades for the Railway. The proposed detour route is utilizing Belden Avenue to the north, Westwood Avenue to the east and Illinois Route 64/North Avenue to the south.
Advance road closure signs will be displayed 7 days prior to actual road closure.
